A l'occasion de la Journée internationale des Droits de l'Enfant 2014, Enfants du Monde a invité les élèves romands à s'investir dans la promotion des Droits de l'Enfant, à travers la création d'une œuvre unique.

Enfants du Monde is inviting pupils from French-speaking Switzerland to take part in promoting children’s rights through the creation of a singular work. The association’s aim is to raise awareness in nearly 60 classes in Western Switzerland, including about thirty classes in Geneva, as part of its “20 Novembre: Un Monde plus juste” (20 November: a fairer world) project.
This fun approach to the Convention on the Rights of the Child gets children to take a photo representing a child’s right that will be turned into a numbered sticker. The fruit of this individual work will then be transformed into a giant 2.50 m high and 4.50 m wide mosaic, made up of the pupils’ portraits, which will be assembled during a rally for all the schools on 20 November.
The fresco will be finalised during the opening of the public festivities that will host a concert and event from 5.30 pm. At 7 pm, representatives from the world of politics and associations, children and the public in attendance will inaugurate this work in the Place des Nations.
