Jamaican 'Foundation' Sound System with international acclaim since the early 70's when the sound system was written under the name Black Cancer. Genesis Explosion has been formed in the early 80's with freshly new music approach to captivate fans around the globe with it's unique capability of juggling the best of dancehall and reggae music. At one point a host of artists used to follow the sound: Anthony Malvo, Angie Angel and Singing Melody to name a few. One of the most popular sound system to emerge from Jamaica, Genesis Explosion has graced the international jamaican music platform with arguably the most talented selectors in the industry.

Claasilisque Sound AKA Classic Sound was founded in 2004 in Basel, Northwest Switzerland, by Scolou and Dominik. Early 2012 the experienced selector, and legendary frontman of "Schwellheim", Easy Yves joined the team, making the sound what it is today. Ready for any city, ready for any audience! In 2008 Claasilisque Sound started the legendary party "Irie Monday". Weekly entertaining people from Basel and all over, with changing guest sounds from Switzerland and abroad. With over 200 mondays "Irie Monday" has become a solid home base for the Basel dancehall/reggae massives. In 2012 Claasilisque has also become the resident sound at "Kaserne-Basel", Basel's biggest cultural center. In 2013, they started "Classique Night", a monthly regular saturday at "Jägerhalle". Furthermore Claasilisque Sound plays music all over Switzerland, and abroad.
