Esperimentoquadro presents "Fail Again Fail Beckett" a performance to explore the performative implications of actions, intentions and failure. The group starts to explore these thoughts thanks to the collaboration and training with Aliki Dourmazer, one associate directors of the Duende Ensemble created by John Britton. The performance focuses on "The Ball Game", a body-mind training exercise and a psycho-physical explorative process for performers that is at the core of John Britton's pedagogical approach: "The ball work is the heart of Self-with-others". This training approach has been developed through extended periods of practical research with ensembles in a number of countries, especially Australia, Greece and the UK.
