Raza nous propose l’exposition de ses toiles et un live painting le 27 Septembre à partir de 19h.
Rodrigue (de son vrai prénom) est un artiste qui vit à Genève depuis plusieurs années. Il est surtout intéressé par les portraits abstraits. Avant de se lancer pleinement dans l’illustration, celui-ci à suivi des études afin de devenir photographe de documentaire. Déjà à cette époque, l’artiste est attiré par les personnalités marginales : « Il m’est arrivé de trainer le soir dans les bars avec pour seul but de rencontrer des gens qui m’intriguaient. Une fois le feeling présent , je leur demandais si je pouvais les prendre en photo. C’était une façon de garder une trace de ces personnes que j’admirais pour leur style de vie, leurs vêtements, leurs histoires… »

« J’ai parfois l’impression que nous sommes dans une société qui se prend beaucoup trop au sérieux. »

Do you want to discover an artist who creates in the moment?
Raza offers us the exhibition of his paintings and a live painting on September 27th from 7pm.
Rodrigue (his real name) is an artist who has been living in Geneva for several years. He is mostly interested in abstract portraits. Before launching himself fully into illustration, he studied to become a documentary photographer. Already at that time, the artist is attracted by marginal personalities: "It happened to me to hang out in the evening in bars with the only goal to meet people who intrigued me. Once the feeling was there, I would ask them if I could take their picture. It was a way to keep a trace of these people that I admired for their lifestyle, their clothes, their stories... "

"Sometimes I feel like we are in a society that takes itself way too seriously."
