Nilda and Álvaro Llerena are two of the descendants of Petrona Martínez, one of the most emblematic and renowned bullerengue singers of the Colombian Caribbean.
Both of them have been involved in their mother's project since their childhood and are now launching the "Herederos de Petrona" project in Europe.
This new project has all the strength and heritage of the drums and dances sung by Petrona "La Reina del Bullerengue", Nilda interprets songs from her own work and from the tradition of her mother. In addition, the songs and arrangements of Álvaro, who has been living in Spain for over 10 years as a professional musician representing Colombian folklore in Europe.
