Hello everyone,
GIA turns 8 years on this day (Saturday 26th), and for this birthday we will celebrate for a cause ! Presenting the GIA & Young@CERN Climate Crawl!
Why are we doing this you ask? Mainly we want to raise awareness of something that in our opinion it's one of the world's current nightmares: Climate Change. it seems fitting with Halloween just around the corner. Also pubcrawls are really fun!
How are we raising awareness? A. We would like to ask you all to please wear green, blue or brown to show your support to the cause.
B. Feel free to bring you own cup so the bars don't have to use plastic cups (also useful for your unfunished drinks since we will be moving from bar to bar)
C. During the pubcrawl there will be someone asking you what you know about the topic and also we'll be giving away trivia for everyone that's interested. Finally, if you are indeed passionate about the topic of climate change, we encourage you to make and bring along a poster about it. The crawl is supposed to be fun but it can also be a learning experience too.
Now, here are the details about the bars we'll visit (schedules and special prices) don't forget your GIA Wristband or CERN badge to get them!

2. Bar de la Plage from 8:30 pm to 9:55 pm

Wines - 5 CHF
Long Drinks - 10 CHF
Shots - 4 CHF
3. l'Eléphant dans la Canette from 10:00 pm to 11:25 pm

4. TEN’S from 11:30 pm till the end!

By the way, at TEN'S we will have their 2 floors to our disposal, the downstairs area will be the dancefloor/music area and upstairs the bar/talk area, so we hope to see you everywhere around the bar!
