Ce court-métrage raconte l’histoire d’un jeune transgenre âgé-e* de 17 ans qui vit dans un village du Kurdistan. Ces images évoquent ses conflits intérieurs et et ceux qu’iel a subi au sein de sa communauté.
This short film tells the story a young 17-year-old transgender individual living in a village in Kurdistan using footage giving the audience insights into the internal conflicts and those they had to overcome in their community.
18h30 - Moi, j'ai voulu faire serveur - De Pauline Mamie
Ce film donne la parole à un jeune homme homosexuel, serveur à Genève, ainsi qu’à son entourage professionnel. Il tente de comprendre les enjeux du dévoilement dans le monde du travail, entre construction identitaire et stratégies pour « garder la face ». �Réalisé dans le cadre d’un Bachelor en Sociologie, sous la direction de Jenny Maggi et Lorena Parini.
This film brings to the fore the experiences of a young gay man working as a waiter in Geneva and his co-workers. It will look at what it means to come out at work and, in that process, the construction of one’s identity and strategies to save face. Under the supervision of Jenny Maggi and Lorena Parini, this film was made as part of a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
20h00 - Free the Nipples - De Pauline Mamie
Ce court-métrage illustre les représentations des performances Drag auprès de la performeuse Frida Nipples. Il interroge la frontière entre l’art et le politique, le personnage incarné et sa performeuse, au prisme des normes de genre. Réalisé dans le cadre du cours « Créations visuelles en sciences sociales » de l’Université de Genève.
This short film looks at the life of the drag performer, Frida Nipples. It lies on the boundary between art and politics, between the person and the performer, within a prism of gender constructs. This film was made as part of the course “Visual creation in the social sciences” at the University of Geneva.
