Le photographe Jeremy Spierer et le designer textile Eliran Ashraf collaborent pour une exposition conjointe à Foound.
Consacrée à l’inévitable phase du délabrement urbain, l’exposition rassemble des photographies de Spierer et leurs interprétations textiles par Ashraf. URBAN DECAY VOL. 2 est la deuxième exposition conjointe des deux artistes explorant leur thème commun avec de nouvelles créations et techniques.
Dans ses photographies, Spierer capture des images de la beauté imprimée sur des affiches et exposée à la vie de la rue, jouant de son symbole avec poésie. Inspiré par le contraste de ces images, Ashraf crée des collages textiles correspondant à l’essence de chaque photographie de Spierer en y ajoutant ses propres projections de l’ordre, du chaos et de la reconstruction.

Photographer Jeremy Spierer & fashion designer Eliran Ashraf team up for a special exhibition at Foound.
Dedicated to the inevitable phase of urban decay, the exhibition includes photographs by Spierer and their interpretation in textile by Ashraf. The URBAN DECAY VOL.2 marks the second exhibition collaboration of the two, expanding their research on the theme while exploring new techniques.
In his photographs, Spierer captures beauty images in a damaged state caused by their “street life”, making them symbols of fading beauty in a poetic way. Inspired by the contrast these images contain, Ashraf created “textile collage” surfaces corresponding with the essence of each of Spierer's photographs adding his own perspective on order, chaos and re-construction.
